About

Bonjour! I am Joëlle from Swan Hill, VIC in Australia. Swan Hill is about 4 hours drive from Melbourne CBD. Many would know Swan Hill for it's Mighty Murray River or the Pioneer Settlement. I am in awe of this beautiful place I now call home... the river, the landscape, the colours, the people...Nostalgia sometimes gets the better of me as I recall Mauritius, the place I once called home... the sea, the landscape, the colours, the people...I often travel through stories and literature, reading and re-reading favorites stories from Mauritius. So many stories of resilience. This blog brings together my love of literature and rediscovering my cultural heritage.
